Daniel: Do more stuff. The way I've written over a thousand LinkedIn posts this year is by doing more stuff. If you just make a 30-minute block on your calendar to write LinkedIn posts, and the second you get to the computer, you have no ideas of what you're gonna write, you're cooked. You're never gonna be able to write LinkedIn posts. Or honestly, you probably will because you're probably a lot smarter than me, but I just can't do that. What I've realized after writing a thousand posts on LinkedIn is that you need to do more stuff to come up with ideas. So when you have that 30-minute block to write content on your calendar, it just free flows and comes so easily to you. All the other guests on Connection Accepted do this. And even big rappers do this as well where they write the first line or the hook of the rap song or the chorus. And then when it comes to going to the studio, they already know what they're gonna go off of. And before we start getting into how you can come up with these infinite ideas, you need to first have a collection mechanism for these ideas. And for me, it's the Notes app, but for other guests of Connection Accepted, it's been Google Docs, it's been Notions, it's been the Android Keep Notes, and so many other things that our phones have nowadays, whether it's reminders. But you need to have some sort of mechanism to collect these ideas so when you go to write on your computer to write these LinkedIn posts, you have a bunch of ideas ready. But you have to get the ideas. And the best way to get the ideas or to do more stuff. And stuff is very vague intentionally. I'll get LinkedIn post ideas on a run. I'll get it on a walk after dinner. I might get it on the way to getting dessert with someone. Matt: And the key to doing more stuff is to saying yes to more stuff, saying yes to getting that coffee, responding to that DM, having that virtual coffee chat with someone because each of these things, whether, you know, you might think they were a waste of time, that might give you more ideas and things to write about. Every coffee chat I have, I'm not going to end up being best friends with the person. That's just normal life. But there are things I can learn that I can apply to my content after every one. It would give me more stories that I can write about. It would help change my perspective. And I might learn content ideas from them. You can just ask them, what are some ideas of things that I should write about now that you know me a little bit better? That stuff can also mean cooking a meal. It can mean going to the grocery store instead of ordering it on DoorDash. It can mean saying hi to someone in line. It can mean joining an online community and asking some questions. It can mean FaceTiming a family member. Daniel: After saying this so many times, I think doing more stuff really is just anything besides doom scrolling, going to a coffee shop, going to a party, working out with a friend, researching a side hustle you wanted to think about, going to the mall, making plans. I mean, the list can go on and on of potential things. But the key is to do more stuff because as you're doing stuff, you're going to have those ideas and you're going to write them down in your notes app. So when you're ready to write those LinkedIn posts and have the block on your calendar, have the free time on a weekend or whatever it is, you have plenty of ideas to choose from. And that's the end of my rant. Do more stuff to come up with more content ideas so when you're on your computer and writing LinkedIn posts, you won't be screwed. Thanks for watching, subscribe, and I hope this added some value to you. Have a great rest of your day.

Everyone consumes content.
